11:11 pm - Music to read HP by
Answering the call just a bit late... =^_^=;;

Prisoner of Azkaban:
The Killing Moon- Echo and the Bunnymen (my reasons should be fairly obvious)
Somewhere Only We Know- Keane (in re of map and shack)
Bark at the Moon- Ozzy Osbourne (again, it's a werewolf song)
Dans les Bras D'un Loup- Paris Combo (more werewolf song-age)
Against All Odds- Phil Collins (pretty much a Remus/Sirius song)

Goblet of Fire:
Big Shot- Billy Joel (in re of Ron and Harry fighting)
Pressure- Billy Joel (had been a rather general song, but it fits Harry having to go through the trials)
Changes- David Bowie (Hermione at the ball)
I Put a Spell On You- Screamin' Jay Hawkins (You'll probably know this song because of the jeans commercial with the scary mannequin...)

Order of the Phoenix:
The River of Dreams- Billy Joel (I can't entirely explain this one because I mostly picked it for the feel, though I suppose it could apply to Harry's prophetic dreams)
The Good Fight- Dashboard Confessional
Brothers in Arms- Dire Straits (for the Order itself)
My Immortal- Evanescence (In my mind, it's Remus' POV for the end-ish of the book)
Wish You Were Here- Pink Floyd (another song for Sirius in OotP, though this one could be from Harry's POV instead of Remus'.)

Goody Two Shoes- Adam Ant
Anyone Can Whistle- Mandy Patinking (note- both these songs were also Remus songs, but he's got others, so I gave them to Hermione)

Perhaps, Perhaps, Perhaps- Cake
Magic- Cars (though I'm also guilty of title-based puns...)
Tuff Enuff- The Fabulous Thunderbirds (also almost a Remus/Sirius song)

We Will Rock You/We Are the Champions- Queen

Harry's Game- Clannad

Fred and George:
Mungojerrie and Rumpoleteazer- 'Cats'
Opportunities (Let's Make Lots of Money)- Pet Shop Boys

Werewolves of London- Warren Zevon

Hands Clean- Alanis Morisette (post-Potters' deaths, Sirius' arrest)
You May Be Right- Billy Joel (their quintessential song, IMHO)
You Took the Words Right Out of My Mouth/Hot Summer's Night- MeatLoaf (I had to give it to them because of the spoken-word intro)

Sirius- Clannad

Me and Julio Down by the Schoolyard- Paul Simon

Magic Moments- Perry Como (I know, just slap me)
Another One Bites the Dust- Queen (I didn't want to poke fun at any particular deaths, so it's sort of war-between-good-and-evil general)

Well, that's the list-- I have another (pretty long) list that's just Remus/Sirius, but for the purpose of the bibliotrack, I was picky with those.
Current Mood: awake
Current Music: Now I'm Here- Queen
